If you have an interest in ministry, Biblical studies or just want to deepen your understanding of Christianity, the Associate of Arts in Christian Studies degree program at BOH will introduce you to the key figures, places, events and themes of the Old Testament and New Testament. This program requires no previous theological training and will reward you with a greater appreciation of theology and its impact on the world around you.
Christian Studies coursework will include studies of the Bible and ministry and it will serves as a foundation for those who pursue a degree in religious studies at BOH Bible College. By earning the Associate of Arts in Christian Studies degree, you will be better prepared for roles in ministry, service organizations and other environments that benefit from solid Christian leadership.
The courses are structured in a simple format to provide students basic understanding of the main principles allowing the students to move through their courses, and in turn their degree programs at a faster pace.
BOH Bible College is not just for those who feel the calling to be involved in full-time ministry by being on staff at a local church. We believe that everyone is called to be in full-time ministry. Whether you feel called to be a pastor, teacher or evangelist this internship has been designed to set you in motion by building a strong, solid foundation for you to build upon for the rest of your life.
BOH Bible College will help you build this strong foundation and teach you how to navigate the course of your life through practical and relevant teaching, including but not limited to basic doctrine, time management, covenants, relationships and more. When Jesus said in His word that He wanted us to build His kingdom He was commissioning the church to build strong people, leaders and families. Our number one desire is to make you into a world class leader who will successfully lead others.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 29:18, that without a vision the people perish. You must have a vision or a dream in order to be productive in life. Through impartation in teaching and ministering in a church and community, you will be infused with a vision that will cause you to dream bigger than before. You will not only get a vision to help us fulfill our dream, but you will be filled with vision for your own life and one day your own ministry.
Each person has great potential to do amazing things for God’s kingdom. Throughout life you will have to make countless decisions that will affect you and those around you. We want to help you make great decisions. "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."
